For years in the execution of the National Organization’s “Go To High School Go To College” Campaign, the Iota Alpha Lambda Chapter, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., provided financial assistance and scholarships to deserving students who attended Harford Community or Cecil Colleges.
To further this effort, the IAL Education Foundation applied for and was approved as a Non-Profit Organization under the provisions of Section 501©(3). The Foundation was organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Specifically, our purpose is to promote, via scholarship or financial assistance, the educational pursuits of qualified students to attend college, primarily those who are attending Harford Community College or Cecil College.
The mission of the Iota Alpha Lambda Education Foundation is to provide opportunities and support of deserving young males and promote academic excellence by providing assistance to aspiring student to attend college.
